Registered and Veteran Owned,
RRGF sells flags and provides a number of flag
related services, but they are not a traditional flag store, and they
never inventory flags. There primary clientele are
military
personnel, museums,
reenactors,
collectors, families
of military personnel, organizations and businesses looking to
have a flag made or
designed, and people in need of special services.

You are bidding on 1ea.Texas Pilot Flag (a.k.a. Texas Civil Ensign)
from the 1839 period. It is a reproduction based on the research of
Devereaux D. Cannon, Jr. The material is real wool bunting, and
the thread is period correct cotton. It was made entirely by
hand, and stitching pattern copied from some period flags.
Flag size
is 34” x 48”.

Also included will be a
copy of Devereaux D. Cannon, Jr.’s book titled: The Flags of the
Confederacy, An Illustrated History. This is the book that was
referenced to hand make this Texas Pilot Flag (a.k.a. Texas Civil
Ensign) from the 1839 period.

#3. “North Carolina Troops, 1861 – 1865: A Roster” Eight of 18
Volumes. “
As
one of its projects to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the
Civil War, the North Carolina Confederate Centennial Commission
initiated, and the North Carolina Office of Archives and History has
continued, the compilation and publication of a new, comprehensive
roster of all North Carolinians who served during the war.
This series, when completed, will comprise twenty individually
indexed volumes.

Vol. III-1st-3rd Regiments NC State Troops
(Infantry), Vol. VI-16th-18th - 20th,

#4. Don Troiani Historical Miniatures – U.S. Marines 1861-1865.
All sets are signed by the artist himself and numbered. The 1/32
scale or 54mm figures are free standing on their own bases and can
be removed from the terrain bases to be displayed individually or
with other figures. The sculpting was done by Master Ken Olsen
working with Don Troiani. The quality of workmanship and historical
accuracy is of the same high standards that you have come to expect
from Don Troiani paintings.
This lot contains: Collector box cover is based on a portion of Don
Troiani painting from his regimental series. Hand painted pewter
set, 54mm. U.S. Marines are depicted making one of their amphibious
landings on the North Carolina coast. The set includes 3 figures of
an Officer, Sergeant, and Private all finely detailed and uniformed
according to the 1859 Marine Uniform Regulations. Also included is a
beach terrain base.
This set is being produced in a limited issue of 750 signed and
numbered production sets. This set includes a numbered
certificate/informational sheet signed by Don Troiani.

This Regiment was orginanized in May 1861
primarily from men in Gibson and Dyer counties of Tennessee. The
12th Tennessee CSA fought at Belmont, Shiloh and Murfreesboro,
suffering severe casualties.
