Friends Of The Graveyard Of The Atlantic Museum - Civil War
On the Outer Banks Committee
The 'Friends of The Graveyard of The
Atlantic Museum' authorized the formation of this committee
to plan and present a 'Civil War Sesquicentennial Event' to
commemorate the events that occurred on Hatteras Island in
August of 1861. All services rendered by this committee are
voluntary.
The Friends of the Graveyard Of The
Atlantic Museum' is a 501(c) 3 (non-profit) organization.
This committee operates under their tax free status .
Therefore, all donations or sponsorships given in support of
this event are qualify as a tax deduction.
Any funds raised by this event will be applied to defray
costs of Flags Over Hatteras activities. Any monies
exceeding those costs will go entirely towards a Civil
War restoration project/projects and
'Friends Of The Graveyard Of The Atlantic Museum.

be made to 'The Flags Over Hatteras Committee'. Any funds

Conference.
